I like how you taught, by example, in your story. You could have easily made your 3-minute read into 10 minutes by expanding on each-and-every-point, but you avoided the temptation, and it paid off in a great way!

Personally, I've dabbled in SEO; I couldn't get past five articles before calling it quits. I prefer to write stories that useful or entertaining to my reader, instead of a machine. LOL
