When I read about your battle with cigarettes and alcohol, I thought of the word "vacation" when you described the "pause." It is such an interesting perspective to take a pause from our bad habits. I want to try it so that I can give my body and mind--a break.

Also, I loved how you formatted your story, specifically the spacing. It felt like a conversation rather than a story. I've seen very few writers pull this off, and you did a masterful job.
