…eir train stations and the various sub-levels. We don’t have anything close to that where I’m from. All we have are trains that run from Point A to Point B and that’s that. No interchanging, interlocking railways. No platforms with hallways leading you to yet another platform of yet another train. No sign boards to see which train will be arriving next.
While I was reading your story (great story btw), I kept wondering, "what would you have thought if you could share this article with your younger self just before you began your first odyssey?"
I like the descriptive sentences you used to describe the railway system in other countries. I read this above section a couple of times and notated it because it painted such an excellent picture! I would include more of those descriptive sections in your stories.
Of your five lessons, the last one about respect resonated with me the most. I couldn't agree more with it! Experiencing other cultures, traditions, and faiths allows you to respect others.
