Wishing You a Happy Holiday Season (Week 8)
Hoping you have a safe, warm, joyous break with the most important people in your life.
Can you believe the year is almost over? I am hopeful next year will be a great year. However, I’m not ready to shut the door on 2020. I am determined to end the year on a positive and grateful note.
I choose to focus on the blessings of this year instead of the challenges. For example, this year has helped me realize what is truly important to me — faith, family, and friends. Looking back, I wonder what took so long for me to focus on life’s priorities, but as they say, “better late than never.”
As part of my extended family, I want to wish each and every one of you — a Happy Holiday Season. I hope you have plenty of opportunities to relax, reflect, and give thanks for the many blessings. I hope you seize a moment to express to your loved ones — how much you cherish them.
I hope you take a moment to repair any broken relations in your life, especially with the individuals whom you haven’t heard from in a while. They probably miss you. They may be lonely. Consider giving them a call or setting up a Zoom gathering. If that does not work, try a handwritten note or sending a card. It may mean the world to them. It may repair broken hearts. It may…
